Terms of Use

Last updated: August 6, 2026

word2html.pro is a document conversion tool that runs entirely in your browser. The core functionality is free and permanent; a one-time Pro purchase unlocks the additional features described in Pricing. By using the service, you accept the terms below.

Copyright

The source code, conversion engine, content, graphics and structure of word2html.pro are protected by copyright and are the property of its creator. All rights reserved unless explicitly stated otherwise.

What's prohibited

You may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, redistribute or otherwise reuse the service's source code — including the JavaScript code delivered to your browser to perform the conversion — to build competing products or services without prior written consent from the owner. This applies even though the code is publicly reachable in the browser as a consequence of the service's local-processing architecture. Sharing or publicly redistributing a Pro license key is also prohibited.

What's permitted

Using the service as a tool to convert your own documents is free and permitted, for both personal and commercial purposes. This does not limit your rights to the HTML you generate — that output belongs entirely to you.

Pro version

Pro access is a one-time, lifetime purchase — not a subscription. It unlocks batch processing (multiple files at once + ZIP), PDF conversion (to HTML and Markdown), and conversion to DOCX and PDF files. See Pricing on the home page for the full list of Pro features. Payment is processed by Stripe. After purchase, a unique license key tied to that transaction is sent to the email address you provide — it is personal and should not be shared or published; keys found being distributed publicly may be revoked.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for the consequences of using the generated HTML — we recommend reviewing the output before production use, particularly for documents with legal significance.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google Ads to measure ad performance. This is a separate, independent mechanism — your document is never involved, and it still never leaves your browser. The Google pixel sets cookies only after you consent (banner shown on your first visit); without consent, no data is collected. You can change your choice at any time via "Privacy settings" in the page footer.
